GOLDEN SUNBEAM RECEIVES WORLD QUALITY AWARD

Golden Sunbeam International Schools received the World Quality Commitment in the Gold Category. Recognized for Commitment to Quality, Leadership, Technology and Innovation, Golden Sunbeam International Schools of Ghana was presented the WQC World Quality Commitment Award to acknowledge strong commitment to quality and excellence. Mr. Emmanuel OHENE OPARE Jr., President, received the prize on behalf of Golden Sunbeam Schools at the Espace Etoile Palais des Congrès Convention Hall Paris, from the President of BID Group, Jose E. Prieto.

Golden Sunbeam International Schools was the only pre-tertiary school across the entire African continent spot-lighted for this prestigious award after a rigorous screening and voting process from BID -the hosting World Quality Body. The event for the presentation of Awards to companies and organizations from 49 countries around the world for achievements in Quality and Excellence was presided over by Jose E. Prieto, President and CEO, along with outstanding personalities from the business world and diplomatic corps. The award represented Golden Sunbeam International Schools commitment to make quality a core focus for continuous improvement and to maintain leadership in its sector and community.

The main media sponsor of the World Quality Commitment Convention was Imarpress media group which covered the Awards Ceremony. Its more than 26 publications in English, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese feature those successful companies and organizations awarded. In this way, the quality symbol and BID's QC100 Model is present in 179 countries around the world, creating a firm ground for the implementation of integral quality processes through the technology and procedures of this model of Total Quality Management.

The purpose of the 2015 WQC Award is to recognize the commitment to quality of those awarded in the top areas of business, services and industry.
